Community Resources for the Government Shut Down

We are aware that the US Government shutdown affects many people in our broader community.  Because of this, Annapolis Pride is sharing some local resources that may be of assistance.

The Moore-Miller administration compiled numerous resources for individuals facing financial and other challenges.  Those resources may be accessed through this link.

Additionally, the Governor’s Office produced a fact sheet outlining the actions the administration has taken and the protections put in place for the hundreds of thousands of Marylanders who are either federal employees or contractors.

Similarly, Anne Arundel County created a resource page for residents that includes financial resources and resources tailored to specific groups, such as immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and parents seeking assistance with childcare.

Annapolis Pride will continue to share resources as they become available.
