Mental Health First Aid, Arnold

The AFSP Maryland Chapter and Anne Arundel Community College are teaming up to offer a Mental Health First Aid training for everyone 18 years and older. The 8-hour course teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.

There is a $10 fee. Students $0.

Lunch will be provided.
