DESCRIPTION:We invite teens\, allies\, and their families to our seasonal LGBTQ+ book club. Each season\, we will be reading a title with a LGBTQ+ theme and discussing it. The goal is to give LGBTQ+ identifying teens a safe space to create connections and to empower others to be understanding\, supportive allies. This month\, we will be reading The 57 Bus by Dashka Slater. \nWhether you’ve made it half way or finished the book\, feel free to join our discussion. DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate the HoliGays* with PFLAG Leonardtown!\nThis year’s celebration will be Sunday\, December 4th\, 2022\, at the Southern Community Center (20 Appeal Lane\, Lusby\, MD 20657).\nFrom 2PM to 5PM\, we will celebrate with light foods\, drinks (including a hot chocolate bar)\, entertainment (from Angelica Lize and Vertical Dance)\, a 50/50 raffle\, and more!\nFrom 5PM to 7PM\, we will watch a Holiday movie\, “Single All the Way”! Popcorn included.\n*This event raises funds for PFLAG Leonardtown and increases visibility for our organization in Southern Maryland\, but also provides a holiday celebration to many LGBTQ+ community members & families that may not have a supportive home with whom they can share the holidays.
