SUMMARY:Pride on the Bay Sailing Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Pride on the Bay Sailing Regatta.  It will take place Saturday\, June 25 at Severn Sailing Association (SSA) in Annapolis\, MD. This will be a fun\, casual introduction to racing so all those with basic sailing skills are encouraged to enter!  SSA has re-opened the snack bar  (Mexican and American food) and each boat registration (cost $50) now includes two drink tickets and desserts. There will also be long sleeved T-shirts for sale at $20 each. Register before June 22nd; open to all Rainbow Spinnakers members\, their partners and friends. For those in financial need the club will be able to pay the registration. Skippers looking for crew and vice versa should ask around via email to the club.  Download the Notice of Race with more detailed info:\n\n\nhttps://bit.ly/PrideRegatta2022\n We’ll be sailing two-person FJ dinghies with mainsail and jib. As of today there are still 12 boats available.\n\nIn addition to first\, second\, and third prizes\, there will be awards for:\n\nBest LGBT pride boat decoration (flags\, banners etc.)\nBest LGBT pride outfits (could be fashionable or fabulous\, you can get creative here)\nBest sportspersonship\nMost dramatic wipeout (accidental gybe\, capsize etc.)\n\nIn the evening after racing we’ll socialize\, eat dinner from the snack bar and the trophies will be awarded at the SSA clubhouse.\n\n\nFor more information\, contact Eric Bolda at el*****@****em.com.
